Who Can Register on Community Connector?
Organizations that wish to register on Community Connector should be nonprofit or civic organizations in good standing. For the purposes of Community Connector, an organization may be considered a nonprofit or civic organization if:
It is exempt from federal income tax as an organization described in 26 U.S.C. 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or any successor section thereto.
or
Your organization is listed in USAID's Report of Voluntary Agencies (Volag).
or
Your organization is registered with your national government as a nonprofit organization or NGO (if this is the case, please provide information that will allow us to validate your status).
or
You are a religious or civic organization that wishes to use C2 to support projects related to the provision of social or humanitarian services using a not-for-profit model.
Sister Cities International may request additional information from individuals or organizations before posting materials, and reserves the right to refuse posting of any or all materials.
In addition, your organization must not be listed on the U.S. Treasury Department's list of "Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons.”
