Fundraising Reception for International Student Exchange Program: Arlington Sister City Association in co-operation with the Embassy of Ukraine to the United States
You are cordially invited to a Fundraising Reception at the Embassy of Ukraine in Washington DC. All funds collected by this Reception will be allocated to support the the Arlington Sister City Association's student exchange program between Arlington and Ivano-Frankivsk (Arlington's Ukrainian sister city), which is scheduled for Spring 2013.
The evening's program will include presentations from participants of the Arlington-Ivano Frankivsk student exchange and welcoming remarks from Arlington County and Ukrainian Embassy officials. The entertainment program will feature a performance by Gerdan-Kaleidoscope of World Music, who will present contrasting musical styles in the folk musical traditions of Ukraine. The performance will be followed by a buffet-style dinner with beverages (including wine and non-alcoholic options).
