Minnesota State Sister Cities Annual Conference

Greetings from Minnesota Sister Cities International! We would like to cordially invite you to attend the Minnesota State Sister Cities Conference at the Hilton Garden Inn in Shoreview, Minnesota.
The conference theme, “Connect Globally, Thrive Locally: the driving concept of Citizen Diplomacy" that our national organization strives to promote,” will allow for conversations about creating and maintaining thriving Sister Cities partnerships, hosting foreign delegations, peace missions to Iraq, economic development, and tourism. Sister Cities International Board Member Tim Quigley will attend the conference to speak on behalf of Sister Cities International. Other confirmed speakers include Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie, Poet and Founder of the Sister Rivers Program, Wang Ping and Cathy McKay of the Iraq Reconciliation Project..
This conference is an opportunity to meet and network with local sister city communities while hearing from national leaders in the citizen diplomacy movement. The cost of the conference is $35 per person and includes lunch. As an active member of Sister Cities International, you have the opportunity to display information about your sister city program for free in the exhibit area.
