Bridging Two Cultures is the theme of this year’s event. The San Francisco – Ho Chi Minh City Sister City Committee in conjunction with the Mayor’s Office of International Trade and Commerce will recognize and present awards to individuals and organizations that have met preserved the culture and art of Vietnam, contributed to the improvement of the Vietnamese American and the Vietnamese communities or have enabled the Committee to effectively carry out its mission.
Proceeds for this year’s dinner will go toward the building of the committee’s educational, healthcare, cultural, community, biotechnology, trade and other programs.
