Sister Cities Essex Haiti: Welcome to Deschapelles, Our Sister City

A film, "Welcome to Deschapelles, Our Sister City" has been produced by Essex residents Brenda and Logan Floyd. It is a beautiful and sensitive film introducing the viewer to Deschapelles, its people, its culture and its spirit. It will be used to inform Essex and surrounding communities about Deschapelles, SCEH, and to raise funds to build a library in Deschapelles. SCEH has begun to show the film to various organizations and individuals throughout our area.
The film, "Welcome to Deschapelles, Our Sister City" will be shown:
- Friday, May 10, 7:00, at the Essex Library/Town Hall (TBD), West Main Street
- Monday, May 13, 12:30, hosted by Mystic Rotary, Mystic Hilton Hotel
