The British consulate in Chicago will be holding their first ever temporary 'pop-up' office in Louisville March 11-15 that will promote Britain as a place to visit and to do business.
Sister Cities of Louisville invites you for a free Open House and Tea on March 14 from 3p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Take part in a culinary adventure; British Versus American. Who is best? - you decide! Will cucumber sandwiches hold their own against benedictine? Does a chocolate chip cookie have more going for it than a slice of crumbly shortbread? Chomp your way through a selection of both our nations finest and give us YOUR verdict!
- A Gallery Exhibit of the Leeds-Louisville Photography project, including a meet and greet with Photographer Michael Brohm and several local photographers who have been part of the Louisville-Leeds photography project.
- An exhibit of the upcoming exciting agriculture exchange and farm to table project with Leeds. Stop by to learn more!
- A display of the JCPS Middle School debate project and chance to speak with Sylvia Bruton about past tournaments and future plans for international debate with Leeds including how your middle schoolers can get involved!
