TCG/ITI Travel Grants Theatre Communications Group/International Theatre Institute is offering $3,500 grants to foster cultural exchange and artistic partnerships between theatre professionals in the United States and their counterparts in Russia, Easter or Central Europe.
The Wal-Mart Community Grant Program allows local nonprofit organizations, such as schools, youth programs, fire departments, and libraries, to hold fundraisers at their local Wal-Mart or SAM'S CLUB. Through the Matching Grant Program, the store/club can elect to match a portion of the funds raised up to $1,000. Events held off the premises are also eligible for funding when a company associate is actively involved.
Programs Barnes and Noble Sponsorships and Charitable Donations Program provides in-store fundraising opportunities, sponsorships, and donations to local and regional nonprofit organizations that focus on literacy, the arts, or K-12 education.
Ben & Jerry's Foundation provides support to nonprofit, grassroots organizations throughout the United States that facilitate progressive social change by addressing the underlying conditions of societal and environmental problems. The Foundation doesn't prioritize any particular issue area for funding; the focus is on the types of activities and strategies an organization uses for creating social change in any number of areas.
The Brower Youth Awards launched the 2008 prize search for outstanding youth leaders. The Brower Youth Awards is looking for individuals ages 13-22 with the power and persistence to create environmental change. The Brower Youth Awards honors six young people annually with a $3000 cash award and weeklong trip to the San Francisco Bay Area. During that week, award recipients will participate in a week of media and public outreach and be recognized at an awards ceremony attended by 900 members of the public.
The Burger King Corporation's Have it Your Way Foundation provides support to nonprofit organizations that have long-term positive impact on the U.S. communities served by the company. The Foundation focuses the majority of its support on organizations that alleviate hunger, prevent disease, and provide youth programs.
Foster's Community Grants, a program of the Foster's Group, a global company headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, provides support to nonprofit organizations in the United States, Canada, and Australia for community-building projects. Grants are provided in the following focus areas: wellness, including both physical and mental health; culture, including artistic, sporting, and educational activities; and the environment, including all aspects of the natural environment.
The Save Our History Grant Program developed by the History Channel, provides funding to support collaboration between history organizations and schools or youth groups on projects that teach children about their local heritage and actively engage them in its preservation. Funds are provided for primary research, physical preservation or clean-up efforts, historical documentation, archaeological or architectural studies, oral histories, and efforts to register a site for local, state, or national landmark status.
The Neighborhood Excellence Initiative, Bank of America's signature philanthropic program, recognizes, nurtures, and rewards nonprofit organizations and individuals working to improve their communities. The focus is on areas such as education, community development, arts and culture, and health and human services. The Local Heroes category provides grants to nonprofit organizations selected by each of five recognized individuals in the targeted markets.
The Baseball Tomorrow Funds' mission is to promote and enhance the growth of baseball in the United States and throughout the world by encouraging youth participation in the game. Nonprofit organizations involved in youth baseball and softball programs are eligible for support. Grants may be used to finance a new program, expand or improve an existing program, undertake a new collaborative effort, or obtain facilities or equipment necessary for youth baseball or softball programs. Letters of inquiry may be submitted at any time.

Funded projects must promote collaboration across social boundaries different youth groups, clubs, or community groups working together. The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards honor young people in middle level and high school grades for outstanding volunteer service to their communities.
Barbara Wiedner and Dorothy Vandercook Memorial Peace Scholarship Since 1993, Grandmothers for Peace International has awarded $250-$500 scholarships to high school seniors and college freshmen from different countries for their activities relating to peace and social justice, nuclear disarmament and conflict resolution.
The Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes seeks nominations for its awards. The Barron Prize honors young people ages 8 to 18 who have shown leadership and courage in public service to people and our planet. Each year, ten national winners each receive $2,000 to support their service work or higher education.
Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Young artists and writers currently enrolled in grades 7-12 and who attend a public, private, parochial or home-school in the United States, Canada, U.S. Territories or U.S.-sponsored schools abroad can apply for this annual program that gives scholarships and/or regional and national recognition for students' creative works.
Ellen Dougherty Activist Fund provides grants of up to $2000 to women 19 and under who propose to develop and lead projects focused on activism and social change. The application deadlines are February 15 and August 15 of each year.

The Do Something Awards selects six outstanding youth leaders yearly to receive $5,000 scholarships and $5,000 community grants; three outstanding leaders ages 19-25 receive $10,000 community grants. In October they also give out 40 awards of $250 each to get your project started.
European Commission YOUTH Programme offers financial support to young people, ages 15 to 25, who are members of the European Union and who have a project idea that they'd like to implement in their community. In addition to financial support, the program provides information, training and opportunities for young people to develop partnerships and networking opportunities with organizations in other EU countries.
