  • Edutopia
    A resource on Project-Based learning including powerpoint presentations, step-by-step guides, videos and links.

  • ePals Global Community
    A service connecting classrooms in the U.S. to classrooms abroad through a safe internet and e-mail service. Also other technology-based projects.

  • eTwinning
    School partnerships and projects in Europe.

  • Girls Helping Girls
    Partners girls in the United States with girls in schools and community organizations in developing countries to jointly identify problems in their communities and work towards solutions.

  • Global Gateway
    Great information about linking schools internationally in a variety of projects and initiatives. Free partner-finding, lesson plans, an online database of schools and more.

  • Global Nomads Group: Uniting the World One Conversation at a Time
    Global Nomads Group (GNG) is an international NGO that creates interactive educational programs for students about global issues. GNG provides educators with interactive live-videoconferencing connecting youth around the world. We provide teachers with lesson plans, professional development training, and other educational resources to support videoconferencing.

  • Global SchoolNet
    Collaborative web-based content, consulting services and training materials for successful, globally-minded collaborative learning.

  • Intercultural E-mail Classroom Connections
    A free service to help teachers link with partners in other cultures and countries for email classroom pen-pal and other project exchanges.

  • International Education and Resource Network
    A variety of ongoing international youth projects and the chance to start your own through an established network.

  • The Leland Initiative
    The initiative seeks to extend full internet connectivity to 20 African coutries. The School-to-School partnership aims to facilitate cross-cultural dialogue and joint projects between newly connected African schools and schools abroad.

    Check out the Challenge 20/20 program, which works to pair up elementary and secondary schools with schools abroad for global projects.

    An online service from National Geographic Society's Education & Children's Programs department with education news, professional development opportunities, resources, discussion, and much more.

    Provides free curriculum topics and a network of high-school-aged leaders working to end global poverty.

    Helpful video resources for learning about other countries, including a by-and-for-teenagers video section.
