Sister Cities International (SCI) 2001 Annual Awards winners
SCI is pleased to announce the recipients of this year's Annual Awards for outstanding sister city programs/projects for 2000. The awards are divided into the following categories: Best Overall, Innovation, Volunteer of the Year and Disability. The winners received the SCI commendation during the Lou Wozar Awards Luncheon at the Annual Conference in Atlanta, Georgia on July 28, 2001 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
The SCI Annual Awards Program recognizes the work of outstanding sister city programs in the nation. These programs demonstrate to other cities how to incorporate exciting and innovative ideas and exchanges into their own sister city program. The table below lists this year's recipients.
