YOUR-TOWN, State - Community leaders, civic organizations, business leaders and citizens will gather for a Summit on Citizen Diplomacy on (date) at (location) to discuss the importance of engaging more Americans in Citizen Diplomacy on the local and national levels and ways to bring visibility to the Citizen Diplomacy movement.

The findings from this Summit and others held around the country will be used to develop the agenda for a National Summit on Citizen Diplomacy in Washington, DC in July 2006. The Summit organizers, the Coalition for Citizen Diplomacy, will issue a national report to the President, the Congress, and the American people, setting a bold agenda for raising awareness of Citizen Diplomacy and for building a national Citizen Diplomacy movement.

It is one of several community events being held around the country under the auspices of the Coalition for Citizen Diplomacy, a group of over one hundred leaders from the non-profit, business, academic and exchange communities committed to building peace through active and sustained international engagement of Americans at home and abroad.
