Eligibility
To be eligible for an award, communities must be current dues-paying members of Sister Cities International, have at least one formally recognized sister city partnership, and the signature approval of the overall sister city program chair.
Annual Awards - History of the Program
Sister Cities International established the Annual Awards Program in 1962 to recognize exceptional sister city programs. A panel of judges reviews the entries and the winners are honored at the Sister Cities International Annual Conference.
