Young Artists Showcase - 20th Anniversary
"A Reflection of Your Community"
2008 Theme
2008 Theme
Since 1988, the Sister Cities International Young Artists Showcase has encouraged youth from around the globe to consider the honorable mission of Sister Cities International and express their interpretation of that mission promoting peace through mutual respect, understanding, cooperation through one individual, one community at a time. Hundreds of artists have shared their talent with the sister cities community over the past 20 years. These artists have given us their vision of the global community. This year we ask them to turn the mirror on themselves and share what life is like for young people in their world.
The theme "A Reflection of Your Community" celebrates the uniqueness of cities, towns, and communities throughout the world. The 2008 Young Artist Showcase is an opportunity to share a vision of your community and its young people with your sister city and the members of Sister Cities International.

There is a small supply of the Young Artist Showcase flyer available to our members for distribution. However, we encourage all communities to print the PDF document & make copies of the flyer on their own, as Sister Cities International's supply is fairly limited.
