July 28, 2001 Annual Business Section Action Items

The membership voted to implement the following actions:

  1. Elected the following members to the Board:
    • Tony Anderson, Tacoma, Washington-3 year term
    • Sherman Banks, Little Rock, Arkansas-3 year term
    • Bob Utter, Des Moines, Iowa-3 year term
    • Jean Van Buskirk, Baltimore, Maryland-3 year term
    • Kathleen Roche Tansey, San Diego, California-3 year term
    • Roxi Goin, Santa Cruz, California-1 year term
    • Re-elected Glenn Gray, Juneau Alaska-3 year term
    • Re-elected Tom TenHoeve, Holland, Michigan-3 year term
  2. By a margin of 215-14 voted to implement Option One. This option amends the Articles and By-laws to have a 24 member Board of Directors elected by the membership.
  3. Approved replacing the name of Town Affiliation of the United States with Sister Cities International (SCI) as the official and legal name of the organization.
  4. Approved the annual audit.
